There's a
link floating around the interwebs that claims Reagan wrote about having to 'find George's son a job' in his diary. The quote reads,
'A moment I've been dreading. George brought his ne're-do-well son around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the political one who lives in Florida. The one who hangs around here all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I'll call Kinsley over at The New Republic and see if they'll hire him as a contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work.'
It's attributed to May 17th, 1986.
The actual May 17th, 1986 entry is,
'had lunch with members of the Honor Guard; radiocast; Rex returned in good condition.'
Not nearly as colorful.. ;) I just thought I'd post my own little
snopes style report on this before 50 people try and send it my way. Sometimes things posted on the internet for "fun" are taken in completely the wrong light. Check your sources ;)

(Page 1)1. It's getting to the point anymore where everyone refers to that guy as the boogeyman. There's plenty to not like about the guy that you don't have to make stuff up like that.

3. Not exactly false, it was a parodic thing. Kinsley himself wrote it, and Snopes themselves just covered it (http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/kinsley.asp). No one would actually believe it taken in context with other quotes like "October 6, 1987. Why does Kinsley keep picking on me? He is the only thing standing between me and the total destruction of the welfare state. But, ha: I will destroy him – destroy him utterly – or my name's not ... not ... not ... Say, they had 'State Fair' on TV last night. What a wholesome, clean-cut young man that Pat Boone is."

4. *much* more enjoyable in context Mike, thanks ;)
I was just with Cory on it, there's enough dirt out there on W that it doesn't seem beneficial to go and make stuff up. Funny though, especially along with the others.
